StripDip - Brake Test Strips - Pheonix Company
The Pheonix Systems StripDip strips are for the testing of Brake Fluid for Copper (FASCAR Rating System). Used by dipping the strip into the fluid, shaking off excess and waiting 30-120 seconds, then checking the color the pad turns to a Colored FASCAR rating "grid".
IMPORTANT: The FASCAR test is not a certification of brake fluid. It is intended as a means of determining when to replace brake fluid in accordance with MAP-UICS guidelines. This is NOT a Moisture or Petroleum Test.
Mortorist Assurance Program- UICS requires brake fluid replacement 1t 200 ppm of copper. FASAR rating of 200 is equip to 200 ppm copper. Contact map@motorist.org for more info.
