The NPC-2 Battery Terminal Protectors are for the use of placing upon the battery "posts" before the terminal is mounted.

These small black pads prevent corrosion from building up under the terminal of which is the hardest place for corrosion to be spotted in it's early stages. Stopping Corrosion in it's tracks before it starts is the best preventitive maintence for your battery!
