Butt Connectors Butt Connectors are called by some a bridge connector. Being a tube with ends on each where wire can be inserted, they are more common to be seen used as either to connect two pieces of wire to make one, or for leading one wire to one side, and connecting two to the other side. Being a crimp type, these are not recommended for reuse; however they are effective whem making that neccessary extension or connection.
